The Unknown Thiebaud: Passionate Printmaker

January 10 – March 8, 2026 • Sebastopol Center for the Arts

Discover the lesser-known printmaking works of iconic American artist Wayne Thiebaud. This special exhibition highlights six decades of Thiebaud’s printed artwork and his legendary relationship with New York gallerist Allan Stone. Free public entry days are available on February 21 and 22.

Cloverdale Citrus Fair

February 13–16, 2026 • Cloverdale Fairgrounds

The 134th Annual Cloverdale Citrus Fair celebrates “250 Years, Then & Now” over Presidents’ Day Weekend. This beloved small-town fair features live music, carnival rides, a petting zoo, 4-H agricultural shows, wine tastings, and culinary demos. The parade takes place on Saturday.

Valentine’s Day in Wine Country

February 14, 2026

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at one of Sebastopol’s wonderful restaurants. Local favorites like Fern Bar, Gypsy Cafe, and the restaurants at The Barlow offer romantic dining experiences featuring farm-to-table cuisine and local wines. Many Sebastopol wineries also host special Valentine’s events throughout the weekend.

Whale Watching at Bodega Head

Throughout February • Sonoma Coast State Park

February is peak whale watching season along the Sonoma Coast. Gray whales migrate south from Alaska to Baja California, often traveling close to shore with their calves. Bodega Head offers one of the best vantage points in the region. On weekends, volunteers from the Whale Watch Public Education Program are on-site to share their knowledge.
